Moorfields Eye Hospital

The clinical work at Moorfields is interesting and well supported by a friendly department in a great location in London. There are opportunities to gain skills in TIVA, paediatric anaesthesia, regional ophthalmic anaesthesia as well as pre-operative assessment clinics and clinical governance.  On call commitments are not demanding.

Spending 3 months at Moorfields is excellent as long as you know what to expect. Come with a plan to achieve things you might not be able to do during other busy rotations. Many people come to Moorfields while revising for exams. There is a great opportunity to achieve ‘back page’ CV projects through research / audit / conference posters and presentations.
